The words God Bless America are something we are hearing more and more not only in America but in the mission field as well. My only question is when was the last time America Blessed God? When was the last time any country, state, or person blessed God. Do people still hear the words “GO” in Matthew 28:19. We have heard and are here until we are told to move. We are Thankful to all of you who help our ministry stay a float. The lives that are changed here in Romania each and every one of you have a part in are truly grateful. We pray that you will be able to continue touching and changing lives for Christ.

We need to come to the states to raise support to continue the ministry here in Romania, as we prepare to do so we have to raise money for plane tickets and educate someone to continue the ministry in our absence. We are praying and asking God to lead us to the right person and we believe that we have found them but are still asking God to lead. Please pray along with us for these needs.

Our Association papers were finally accepted by the Romanian Judicial system this month. We have a few more papers to file but hope to be done soon, then we will make plans to start the Church again. Lori and I have a lot of ministry opportunities and would like to see them started. Due to the weather getting colder the children’s and teen classes are getting smaller but still progressive. In our regular Sunday kids class, they have been coming to class hungry due to the recession, some have not eaten in days so Lori and I decided to provide them with a small breakfast before class, if you would like to help keep this going please let us know. The hospital ministry is getting busier unfortunately because parents can’t make ends meet and the younger children are always the first to go. The hospital keeps the children for free while they are ill, when they are healthy they go home and a day or two later come back sick again. Please keep these Children and all the ministry needs in Prayer.

As summer is coming to an end we would like to thank everyone that kept our family in prayer. We have had two Vacation Bible Schools and one camp so far the plan is for at least two more VBS meetings. We ask that you continue to keep the ministry in your prayers. The first VBS was maxed out at 153 children; although no professions were made the gospel was made available to the men, women, and children attending. The second VBS went a little different this year we were able to give the children jelly sandwiches instead of just cookies each day. For the last two years we have been a part of baseball camp in Hungry. We have made many friends in the group of workers, whom we have been told are not all saved. Lori has learned some Hungarian and she would like to learn completely, but even with the language barrier she helped lead one of the ladies to the Lord. We praise the Lord for souls that He is reaching.

We are still waiting for the judicial vacations to end so that we can properly continue with the Church that was started last October. The church documents were revoked due to an expired paper which has been redone and approved.

We are Praying and thinking about open doors in Romania and in Hungry as a chance to minister. Please become a prayer worrier with us as God leads us in the direction He would have us to go.

If you would like to donate to our ministry or just drop us a word of encouragement, email us at: Godscrossfire@cs.com or call at (863)873-2835 Or if you have missed one of the recent                       letters you can read them on our blog at www.godscrossfire.blogspot.com

Thank you for your love and support of this ministry.

We Thank the Lord for all His many blessings on our lives and ministry. We attended a mission conference to missionaries that was very encouraging to us. A fellow missionary friend lent us his 2004 Daewoo Matiz to use for the ministry; this was a large answer to prayer as we did not have a car. This missionary is buying a new vehicle and so he is considering giving us this car. Please Pray for the transition and money for minor repairs that will need to be made to the car before it can be registered in our name in Oradea. It will cost about $500.00 to make everything workable and ready to go. Tags here are a little harder to obtain the car must first go through inspection then it can be bought or sold whichever the case.
We will be combining our teen class with a new class that we are starting in the gypsy village of Orsohei that we are working in. Our teens can play musical instruments and will be an asset to the gypsies’ teens. The Church plant is still going at a steady slow rate. We were able to have a set of Evangelistical meetings that went well, no decisions were made but a few people very close to accepting. We Praise the Lord for allowing us to share the gospel with the Romanian people.
We ask that you would pray with us about our support level, even thought food is considerably cheaper here our cost for living and doing the ministries that God has called us to do are still costly and we at this point can not make ends meet. This to us is a large burden because the Bible is specific in saying wherever your treasures are there will your Heart be also. The Roma and Romanian people are treasures to us so then our hearts are here. We understand that God has called us to Romania and it is here that we want to be, we also understand that God will sustain us but we also believe that he uses His people to do so. Thank you for all your love and prayers in these times, May God bless and keep you as He is doing the same for us. If you would like to donate to our ministry or just drop us a word of encouragement, email us at: Godscrossfire@cs.com

We are very pleased to announce that Redemption in Christ Baptist Church, the church Plant that was started on October 1st 2009 is still steadily growing. We have had up to 23 people on a Sunday, and are looking forward to God’s additions. Please keep the building in prayer, it is the size of a two car garage and is very hard to keep warm. We are praying for God to supply the money and materials to renovate the building to make it an appropriate and comfortable meeting place. As Christmas approaches there are certain Holiday traditions in Romania that are specific to their culture. Trees are decorated with candy, not lights and bulbs. Teens go caroling on Christmas Eve until 4 or 5am, and people stay up to hear them. We have adapted to these specific traditions and always have a blast. We will be able to go to all 3 gypsies Churches on Christmas day and tell the story of Jesus birth with a little twist from Lori. Every family member receives a food bag and each child a small toy packet.
We have put in all the necessary documents to start the foundation papers for the Church plant. Please pray that they will be processed in a timely manner. We are also in need of a vehicle for the ministry, which will go under the Church plant foundation. Since we’ve been in Romania we have not been financially able to purchase a vehicle, and now we are in need of one more than ever. It would be used for the transport of elderly church members, teen mission trips, VBS, and getting from village to village. Please prayerfully consider what God might lay on your heart to do for this need.
We just recently took Lori to the doctor to check on her diabetes and leg swelling that she was having, the doctors admitted her to the hospital and ran some tests. After lots of injections and some deliberating they came to the conclusion that Lori has Renal Failure (her kidneys are not working at full capacity). She has stage 3.8 of 5, which means she goes every six weeks to get her kidneys cleaned of toxins. Please make this a matter of prayer, Lori has been diabetic since birth and 28 years of diabetes can cause some damage. We know OUR GOD is REAL and HE is in CONTROL.

Vacation Bible School and Camp
We are very excited to report that after much prayer we will be able to serve the Lord this summer in 6 different Vacation Bible Schools, and at least two camps. We estimate that the cost of these programs will be $2200 that breaks down to about $300 per week. This will provide a bible, food, and school supplies for the children that come. Each day we will have song time, Bible lesson time, handwork, game time and snack time. We ask that you would prayerfully consider giving toward this ministry. Please continue to pray that each decision made this summer will be followed up by discipleship.
Children’s Class
Upon our return we will also be restarting the Sunday school class. The size of the class is finally settling down to 35-40 children. They were beginning to learn to sit still, not hit each other, and answer questions. They have been taught Bible songs, Bible verses and Bible stories, which they share in the church services. We are very excited to continue teaching the next generation, because
JESUS IS COMMING SOON !!!!
Csilla's Physical Health
We have talked with some doctors and they have confirmed, through an MRI that Csilla has a brain tumor. The doctors in Romania informed us that the mass in her brain has grown and that the swelling in her brain is becoming more dangerous. More sections of her brain are not functioning. The good news in all of this is after many test no cancer has been seen. Csilla's rate of survival for a brain surgery is less than 30%. Since Csilla's medications are controlling some of her seizures, we were recommended not rush into this very risky surgery unless it is absolutely necessary. We praise the Lord for some encouragement. We continue to pray for God's guidance in this situation.
Reporting In
If you have any questions about our ministry you can e-mail us at, godscrossfire@cs.com and put in the "Subject" box your name and or church name, or call us at (803) 223-8684. We NEED to report to churches and to raise our support level, which right now is approximately 20% of what we need. With the regular decrease of the value of the dollar against the Romanian new Ron, and with the terrible increase in the cost of living since entering the EU, we simply cannot make ends meet. We know that God can supply all our needs but we also know that God will burden His people for specific needs.
In order to finish the visa papers and passport for Csilla, we will need to raise an additional $1500. We appreciate your prayers regarding this very specific need.
